ParkRidge47 is not a Republican [Warning: Explicit Lyrics]

Ed. Note: I like to keep this space profanity free. However, I do not want to edit the comments which I’ll be quoting. Please do not read if words will hurt you.
Yesterday at the liberal blog, MyDD, Adam Conner, author of RunObama.com, did his best to piece together the track-record of the anti-Hillary “1984″ YouTube ad which has now gleefully crossed in to the mainstream. [h/t Josh Levy for pointing me to Adam's piece.]
On Adam’s post, a few comments jumped out at me regarding the possible partisanship of “ParkRidge47.” And liberal comments typically help drive a narrative for the MSM, so I want to dig in:
The first comment by Swift2001 [excerpt below] suggests that this is either a really stupid Democrat who doesn’t understand the damage they’re causing to their “brand,” or a Republican is responsible:
There are two possibilities for the Obama ad: one, that it was done by a clever but clueless Obama supporter who thinks it’s okay to spread the straight Drudge/Rove/Coulter line on Hillary, or the other is, it was done by somebody working for the Republicans. Think YouTube “ratfucking.” “Let’s you and him fight.” Remember the phony madrassa story? It was supposed to have come from the Hillary camp. It didn’t, it came from deepest, darkest wingnuttery.
* * *
If any Obama supporter thinks they’re profitting from this, they’re very wrong. No Democrat profits, long-term, from the idea that Hillary is a “dictator.” First they’ll go after the front-runner, then if they get rid of her, they’ll be coming for Obama, the “not negro enough,” or the “callow youth,” or whatever.
The conspiracy theory gains more steam in a comment by FMArouet [excerpted below] who of course fingers the [Karl] Rovian Conspiracy Theory:
The video is smelling to me more and more like a typical Rovian ploy. What is Swift Boat fundmeister Bob Perry doing with his money these days?
Remember the forged National Guard documents which ultimately destroyed the credibility of Dan Rather, who failed to exercise due diligence in scrutinizing them?
Remember the forged documents about Iraqi purchases of uranium “yellowcake” from Niger and W.’s use of them as one of the pretexts for invading Iraq?
Remember the flooding of Democratic GOTV phone banks in New Hampshire and the misidirection robo-calling campaigns intended to irritate Democratic voters in several other states?
Remember Republican voter-suppression efforts in Florida, Ohio, New Mexico, and elsewhere?
Oh, and remember the Watergate break-in of Democratic Party offices?
And what about the firings U.S. Attorneys and continuing coverup of perjury and obstruction of justice?
Dirty tricks are what top Republicans have grown up learning to do and what they continue to do. And this video has that certain stench to it.
But, trust me, I knew from the beginning that Republicans had nothing to do with it.
Number 1: The Republican Party establishment isn’t that organized or evolved, especially on the Internet. In fact, To my knowledge, I was the third blogger to write about the ad in this space and techPresident. My guess is that I would have probably at least heard that it was being produced or would have received a note about it. I didn’t.
Number 2: The Republican establishment is not one for effective viral videos. In fact, it’s the same crew that didn’t want to tie their name to the North Korea || Madalyn Albright YouTube spot by David Zucker for whatever reason.
Number 3: As Josh Levy reported yesterday, Democrats love to destroy their own in primary campaigns. In fact, Ned Lamont’s modern volunteers created a nearly identical spot against Joe Lieberman.
And now evidence straight from the horse’s mouth.
Yesterday on my post about “Google + YouTube + Politics,” a comment left by Marcus Pittman of TransplantMinistries included a message from ParkRidge47.
To date, I believe this is only the second message that has been publicized. The first was a response to Micah Sifry.
I followed up with Marcus via email to get the scoop.
Like a lot of people, Marcus found the 1984 spot through YouTube. He responded to the video through YouTube’s video response feature. Here is his video response.
Here is their YouTube comment exchange — no editing has been done:

Go fuck yourself. Or get 100,000 views. Whichever comes first.

Subject: Re: Re: Approve my video response…Message: So are you saying that in order to have a decent open ended conversation I need to get 100,000 videos. Excuse me but I create my own videos, I do not copy off of someone elses (Apples) also you have only posted one video and “Got Lucky” because someone allowed your video to be a response to theirs.
Do not think for a moment that you are any better then me. Your nothing more then a Liberal Fan-Boy. Who believes everything he watches on CNN.
Your refusal to post a response to my video shows your closed mindedness and weakness in your own stance.
I will be more then happy to carry on a discussion with you, but using obscenties as a weak attempt to scare me away holds no wait and lowers you to the sterotypical standard of well a Liberal.
Your a genious.
Marcus
Two things jump out at me. The first is the date of the exchange. ParkRidge uploaded his video on March 7, and so did Marcus. That date matches the email exchange which verifies the credibility. ParkRidge probably didn’t expect this video to achieve the viral response which it has received so was likely responding to a lot of emails and comments. (If you have any - email them to me.)
If he had been smart about remaining anonymous, he would have not responded to any comments. Instead, he’s given us information about his identity and there’s likely more to find.
The second thing is ParkRidge47’s knowledge of the conservative blogosphere. The line about “throw[ing] little green footballs at redstate” is clever - just like his video. He is obviously making a pun with regard to two major blogs on the Right (not exactly Republican though which a Republican modern media guy like me would understand), little green footballs and redstate.
Conclusion
We’re clearly not dealing with an amateur. This is very much a professional - likely someone who I would consider my counterpart on the Left - and they have a budget behind them.
Based on the evidence above, I’m convinced that anonymous user, ParkRidge47, is a skilled liberal operative.
Thoughts? Any more insight out there?
UPDATE 1:52 PM: Newsbusters reported yesterday that the MSM had jumped all over the, “this might be the work of a Republican” narrative. [h/t Road to 2008]

Hey Jack -
Thanks for weighing in.
I’m merely pointing out that this individual is NOT a Republican before it becomes part of the mainstream narrative - which you agree with - so I’m successful.
It’s an interesting mystery to solve…
David
[...] Some Media pros’ like the David All Group are not so sure and the folks at Newsbusters notes that ABC thinks it may be the doing of the GOP. [...]
Yep, I figured that he was a Spy for the Obama campaign when he mysteriously shows up with a top ranked video after never posting anything before.
Vote Different. Vote Different you say? How about going against the Liberal Media for a change, then vote. Now that would be different.
PS. In order to get the YouTube Videos seen, they are ranked several ways.
By number of Ratings, Those are the Stars below the video.
By Number of Views
and by Number of Comments.
So if there is a video you like, Comment, Rate and View.
Doing all three will place the video in an easier to find spot, making it viewable and more Viral.
Marcus.
Oh and just because it is my favorite, be sure to check out the response to the Iraq Withdrawal Plan.

[...] Conservative Tech Consultant, David All, was going in the right direction with his post. We’re clearly not dealing with an amateur. This is very much aprofessional - likely someone who I would consider my counterpart onthe Left - and they have a budget behind them. [...]
[...] Just as quickly as the Hillary/Obama/Apple/1984 YouTube spot made the NBC Nightly News and questions were raised about the identity of its creator, the anonymous “ParkRidge47″ has been identified and has already made a now-cursory stop at Huffington Post: Hi. I’m Phil. I did it. And I’m proud of it. [...]

Hi David–
ParkRidge47 is skilled, and probably liberal, but I’m not so sure he’s an operative in the sense that you are. Awareness of redstate and littlegreenfootballs means he reads KOS, or just surfs around the net like the rest of us.
It’s a much more egalitarian world in cyber space, but not to the extent that Marcus deserves a link back to his video, which is, uhhh, bad — like his grammar and spelling.
The two efforts aren’t comparable in any way. My 11-year old daughter produces more effective Power Point demos.
Best regards,
Jack
